Retro is back! Frida Giannini was able to create a beautiful collection by finding inspiration with fashion from the sixties. From the knee-high boots to the amazing coats, Gucci really showed during the first day of Milan Fashion Week.
Gucci seems to have steered away from their usual template of sumptuous looks. This collection was certainly more commercial than those of the past. I loved the pastel blue dress with ruffles at the bodice, the blush pink look and many more. Going back to the 60s for inspiration was a good idea for them. Love your blog posts about Fashion Week.
