♡ VALENTINE'S DAY MAKE-UP SUGGESTIONS: DRUGSTORE♡
Valentine's Day is a day where you could either look forward to or ignore completely. If you don't have a valentine's this year maybe it would be fun to go out to eat or shop with some friends. If you do have a valentine's this year try something new and don't do a cookie-cutter valentine's day evening. Here are some drug store make up suggestions for a perfect valentines day look!jbja
Face:
It would be ideal to not wear anything heavy on Valentine's day and just go out with a face mositurizer but some of us aren't so lucky. A sheer foundation or BB cream should do the trick. It's better not to be so fussy about having too many caked on products.

A nice light barely-there blush would be perfect for a night out. Specifically there two Maybelline Fit Me Blushes. I would skip the bronzer, unless you really want to contour your face.

I always go neutral with eye shadow colors but for Valentine's Day I would mix it up a bit depending on my lipstick I would put a burgundy or light pink on my crease. Here are some options:
Option 1:
I would use this Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold all over my lid and add a little of a light pink eye shadow.
Step 2:
This Maybelline Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow Quad in Taupe Temptress is perfect for a Valentines day look.
I would skip the eyeliner but if you want a dramatic, you could do a winged eyeliner look using one of these two:

For mascara I recommend any mascara that really gives volume and length like Maybelline's The Rocket Mascara
Lips:
I always choose the lipstick I am going to wear depending on how intense or dramatic my eyes are.
If my eye look is dramatic I tend to go with a more subtle lipstick like Maybelline's Color Sensational: The Buffs in Blushing Beige
For a less dramatic eye I would go with a bold lip like Wet n Wild's Mega Last Lip Color in Cherry Bomb.
If you're not the lipstick type, Maybelline's Baby Lips in Cherry Me gives the perfect red stain for the lips.

♡MY FOUNDATION ROUTINE♡
My foundation routine is pretty simple. Since I don't like having so many products on my face I try to use the minimum.
I start off my using my alba botanica moisturizer that you can find at pretty much any drugstore. I use this moisturizer as a primer and I find that it does hold my makeup very well. Since this moisturizer is oil free and I have combo skin, it's perfect for me.
For my foundation I use Benefit's Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation. I love this foundation; it offers great coverage and if I have any blemishes or red spots by layering I can cover it. I use Toasted Beige.
I finish my foundation by using BareMinerals' Matte Foundation. Although this is a foundation, I use it as a setting powder and I don't apply to much so my face doesn't get too cakey. I use Medium Beige.

August went by way too fast for me. Summer ended and school started so I'm still trying to transition into school time like waking up at six a.m.

| Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Bold Liquid Liner I'm usually not that big of a fan of eyeliners but recently I've been wanting to try it out. I used this liner to practice making the perfect cat eye with it. The felt tip brush definitely helps get the look. I got it in the color brown but once I tried it on I knew should have gotten the liner in black because it's not as bold as I wanted it to be. Link to Purchase  Victoria's Secret Ultra-Moisturizing Hand and Body Cream 'Strawberries and Champagne' This body cream has been one of my favorites this moth mostly because of the smell. It is a very subtle smell that can also be soothing. I also love that it feels like a butter cream and doesn't feel sticky after applying. This eye palette has been my go to palette for this month. I mostly use the color in the center because it matched my skin tone exactly. It gives me a natural color but with a shimmer.
